Emergency Procedures Course With Use of Ultrasound Guided Machine

The course is unique in that the didactic portion of the program is covered in a series of small lectures describing procedure content, anatomy, indications and contraindications of the procedures. The participants will then be given clinical cases to assess how they can utilize these procedures in real clinical settings. And then the participants will rotate in four skills station to review and practice all of the specifics of how to perform a wide spectrum of procedures (Chest Tube, Cricothyroidotomy, Central Line Insertion and Lumber puncture), using high fidelity simulators and animal models, with one-to-one model simulator ratio.


• To plan and demonstrate the use cricothyroidotomy in clinical practice.

• To demonstrate and interpret the use lumbar puncture in clinical practice.

• To plan and demonstrate the use central line in clinical practice.

• To plan and demonstrate the use chest tube in clinical practice.
