Dr. Tania Bayoud

Dr. Tania Bayoud joined Kuwait University School of Pharmacy to assist in the design; planning and implementation of the new add-on PharmD program and is currently the chair of the PharmD Experiential Education Program. Before joining Kuwait University, she established and headed for 3 years the Clinical Pharmacy Department in a leading private hospital in Kuwait.

Dr. Tania is a licensed clinical pharmacist in the province of Ontario in Canada for the past 14 years; she is also a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in the US. Dr. Tania still practices in Canada during the summer as a clinical pharmacy coordinator and consultant at St. Joseph Healthcare in London Ontario, where she has worked and led different accreditation projects involving Medication Reconciliation and other medication safety initiatives. She has also developed pre-op chronic medication management guidelines and assisted in the development and implementation of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) programs. She is a collaborative member of the National Canadian Clinical pharmacy Key Performance Indicators (CpKPI) working group and is an active member working on advancing the practice of clinical pharmacy in Canada on a National level.”
