Life Sciences Academy has partnered with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and Pharma Expert to provide a new innovative educational model that offers structured, comprehensive and competency based education for pharmacists in Kuwait. To assure the quality, global educational tools and best practice will be used, respecting national context. Based on tradition and access, enhanced by innovation, the future of pharmacists in Kuwait could be shaped with their input and engagement. Asthma course is a first clinical module in LSA SMART project.
The workshop will provide few valuable tools that can be used when managing change – SWOT analysis, Kotter’s Eight Steps, Roger’s Innovation Adoption Curve, Stakeholder engagement matrix, facilitators and barriers list. Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups and apply each of these tools to a self-selected change scenario related to pharmacy. Participants will be encouraged to select real issues to maximize the take-home value of the workshop.
