Birmingham City University has been launching careers since 1843. They have a solid, well-established presence in Birmingham, with eight main campuses, several halls and other venues across the city. With prominent track record in research, Birmingham City University’s strategy now is to be best placed to collaborate with business community, focusing on the development of new concepts and techniques for the benefit of the organizations, through a variety of sophisticated knowledge transfer mechanisms. Their Faculty of Health also contains a Skills and Simulation Center providing practice to their students in a safe and simulated environment that mirrors the real-life health and social care arena using the most cutting-edge of equipment and audio-visual technologies. Being the winner of the Higher Education Academy Award 2011 for learning and teaching quality in the Faculty of Health, LSA and the Faculty of Health at Birmingham City University have a signed agreement to explore means of collaboration supporting Healthcare professionals in the GCC region.
